Bristol risers MOULD announce their self-titled debut EP (pre-order here), set for release August 2nd via Nice Swan Records  & share latest single ‘Glow’, out today (July 9th).

Partnering with the esteemed indie tastemaker label, MOULD (featuring Joe Sherrin, Kane Eagle and James Luxton) incorporate the influences of acts such as Fugazi, Pile and Weezer in their dynamic sound, and have already received widespread acclaim throughout the press landscape in recent times (NME, DIY, Dork, So Young, The Line Of Best Fit, Rough Trade, Brooklyn Vegan).

With strong support across the BBC 6 Music (Huw Stephens, Amy Lamé) and Radio X (John Kennedy) airwaves, the thrilling trio’s early releases, which have seen them team with revered producers  Harri Chambers (Lucy Rose, L’objectif) and Jon McMullen (Wet Leg, Michael Kiwanuka), are certainly making quite the impression as they begin their ascent towards the emerging indie elite.

Having ticked off dates alongside Lip Critic earlier this summer, in addition to their first foray on the UK festival circuit, MOULD’s frenetic live reputation is primed to grow in the coming months, with further dates lined up at the likes of 2000 Trees, Live At Leeds and Left Of The Dial.

Detailing their single release, the band stated: “‘Glow’ is taken from a short story about a writer who sits under an autumnal sky and uses the weather’s imagery to write poetically. The autumnal weather is sick of people doing this, becomes enraged and attacks the writer.”

Produced by Harri Chambers, MOULD’s ‘Glow’ is out now via Nice Swan Records and available on all digital platforms.
